Feeddaducks.org was born from personal loss, compassion, and a belief that even the smallest act of kindness can grow into something much bigger.
The journey began in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham.
After the loss of his wife, S Shazada found comfort returning to the park where they had spent time together feeding the ducks. What started as a simple act of remembrance became a source of healing and reflection during one of the most difficult periods of his life.
As time passed, S began educating visitors about caring for wildlife responsibly, encouraging people to feed ducks and birds suitable food rather than bread. But he also noticed another growing need around him.
He saw homelessness.
He saw hunger.
He saw vulnerable people struggling without support.
Whenever possible, he helped using his own resources, providing food, drinks, and essentials to those in need. Over time, it became clear that helping people on a larger scale would require a bigger vision.
That vision became Feeddaducks.org.
Despite its name, Feeddaducks.org is not simply about feeding ducks.
The ducks represent where the journey began.
Today, Feeddaducks.org stands for helping people, supporting communities, protecting wildlife, assisting the homeless, feeding those facing hunger, providing relief to vulnerable families, supporting access to clean water, and bringing hope wherever it is needed.

Our vision reaches beyond Birmingham.
While we remain committed to helping people in our hometown, we also aspire to support communities throughout the United Kingdom and around the world. This includes communities affected by poverty, hunger, conflict, displacement, lack of clean water, and other hardships.
Our long-term ambition is to work directly with communities across Africa, Asia, Palestine, and wherever help is needed, creating sustainable projects that improve lives and provide lasting support.
As a Muslim, S Shazada was inspired by the belief that charitable acts performed in someone’s name continue to bring blessings. Feeddaducks.org was founded in honour of his late wife, with the hope that every act of kindness carried out through the charity will continue to benefit others and honour her memory.
Alongside the charity sits Shimmy Diamonds.
Shimmy Diamonds was founded by S Shazada as a purpose-driven brand built on resilience, hope, and strength through adversity. More than a clothing brand, Shimmy Diamonds exists to help create opportunities that can support and expand the charitable mission of Feeddaducks.org.
The long-term vision is for Shimmy Diamonds and Feeddaducks.org to work together under one umbrella: building successful ventures that create meaningful change in the lives of people, communities, and animals around the world.
